Man hospitalized after pickup truck strikes NE Oklahoma City home

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A man was sent to a hospital early Tuesday after his pickup truck crashed into a residence in northeast Oklahoma City, according to KOCO.
The accident occurred off the intersection of Northeast 50th Street and Kelley Avenue, at about 3:15 a.m.
It was unclear what caused the vehicle to hit the home, but the pickup slammed head-on into the garage and overturned.
Officials have not disclosed details on the driver’s condition, but he was able to self-extricate from the pickup truck before being transported to a local hospital.
Two people were home at the time of the wreck, which left the garage door destroyed, but no other injuries have been reported.
