Man killed following single-vehicle crash in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash that happened in the Moeller Heights area on Friday.

Tulsa police told KTUL that the collision occurred in the area of S Memorial Drive and E 21st Street. Police suspect the driver was speeding, which caused him to lose control of his black Mercedes sedan. The sedan spun out of control, hit a curb, and crashed into a utility pole.

Tulsa fire crews extricated the driver from the car, and ambulance personnel took him to a hospital, where he later died.
