A man was killed in an Oklahoma motorcycle accident Tuesday.

According to officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 59 year-old Allic Carlos Lack was killed in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 35, northeast of Wynnewood in Garvin County. The accident occurred shortly before 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the accident report, Lack was riding a motorcycle south on Interstate 35 when he lost control of his bike and crashed on the shoulder of the highway. Lack was then struck when the driver of a tractor-trailer swerved to avoid the motorcycle in the road.

Lack was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. His passenger, 45 year-old Pauls Valley resident Harriet Ann Lack refused medical treatment. Neither biker was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

The truck’s driver was not injured, troopers said.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim’s family and friends during this difficult time.
