Man killed in pedestrian collision in NW OKC

NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man was killed in a pedestrian collision that took place in Northwest Oklahoma City on Friday, KOCO reports.

The incident unfolded after 7 p.m. when the man walked onto oncoming traffic in the area of North May Avenue and Northwest 178th Street and was hit by a vehicle.

The male pedestrian died from his injuries at the scene.

Officials closed North May Avenue for about 30 minutes before reopening the area.
