OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man was sent to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in a night club parking lot in an attack that may have been intended for another man.
According to KFOR, police have only recently released information regarding the attack, which occurred about two weeks ago at a night club located near Western and Southwest 74th Street.
The man was walking across the parking lot when a blue and silver Ford F-150 intentionally struck him, according to police video footage, before fleeing the scene.
The victim, who has yet to be publicly identified, was taken to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, he did not suffer serious injuries.
Authorities believe that the driver had mistaken the victim for a man he had fought with inside the club. The suspect was kicked out of the club after security broke up a fight between him and another man.
Police continue to search for the suspect and to investigate the case. Those with any potential information on the circumstances or the suspect are invited to contact the Oklahoma City Police.
