Man sustains head injuries in crash with snow plow near Owasso

TULSA CO., OK – Injuries have been reported in connection to a two-vehicle crash involving a snow plow in north-central Tulsa County, reports News on 6.
The accident happened around 6 a.m. Sunday in the area of US-75 and East 106th Street North. This is just northwest of Owasso and about 15 miles northeast of Tulsa.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a van collided with a snow plow. The driver of the van became entrapped, requiring a lengthy extrication procedure involving the jaws of life.
Medics transported the driver of the van to an area hospital with non-life-threatening head injuries.
No other injuries have been reported in connection to the wreck.
A full investigation is underway.
