Man wanted in Norman high-speed police chase

NORMAN, OK – A man is wanted by Oklahoma Highway Patrol following a high-speed police chase that caused a car accident yesterday morning.
News 9 reports that the incident began when officials attempted to stop the suspect for speeding near the intersection of Robinson and Interstate 35. The driver then fled down the interstate, reaching speeds of more than 100 mph.
The chase led a person driving a Mercedes to have an accident on 12th Street.
The chase ended around 7 a.m. when the driver damaged his tires while driving over the median and onto a service road.
The suspect fled the scene on foot.
The case is still under investigation at this time.
