Man, Woman Injured After Two-Car Accident

A woman and a man were injured after a two-car collision, a January 7 article of Shawnee News-Star reported.
The incident happened at the intersection of State Highway 270 and Pottawatomie Road around 5:32 PM, January 5. 40-year-old Amanda Miller was driving her 1997 Nissan pickup truck when she failed to yield at a stop sign and went in the way of 77-year-old Charles Burroughs’ 1999 Dodge pickup truck. Miller had to be sent to OU Medical Center in stable condition with head and trunk internal injuries. Meanwhile, Burroughs was taken to Alliance Health.
