Mead woman killed in a vehicle collision near Lake Texoma

BRYAN COUNTY, OK – A 64-year-old Mead woman died as a result of a collision near Lake Texoma on Sunday, KTEN reports.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the incident happened before 6 a.m. on July 19. They believe a driver traveling west on U.S. 70 lost control of their vehicle near Leavenworth Trail. The car then ran into a culvert, struck a fence, and caught fire.
OHP did not say whether the deceased was the driver or passenger of the vehicle.
A full investigation is underway.
