MOORE, OK – Moore Police detained a juvenile and put them into custody following a pursuit-turned-collision that ended at a car dealership on Friday, KOCO said.
The incident first began in Oklahoma City. OKC Police spotted a stolen car occupied by the juvenile and two others. The group was driving in the area of Interstate 240 and 79th Street.
OKC Police tried to pull the group over, but they would not listen, prompting a pursuit.
When the stolen vehicle entered Moore city limits, Moore PD used a tactical maneuver to stop them. The technique worked, but caused a suspect to lose control of their vehicle before plowing into six vehicles at a car dealership. At least one vehicle caught on fire.
After the collision, the juvenile and two others fled the scene on foot. Police detained the juvenile and placed them into custody, while the two others got away.
KFOR said the dealership was located near Orr Nissan Central off Highway 74 and Santa Fe.
