Motorcycle passenger killed in accident with car

Sunday evening, a fatal motorcycle accident occurred at the 2500 block of Meridian in Oklahoma City.

According to Oklahoma City police, a 56-year old passenger on the motorcycle was killed in the tragic accident.  The accident occurred when a car turning left into a driveway struck the motorcycle.

Upon impact, the passenger was thrown from the motorcycle into the road.  The victim was struck by an oncoming vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The 53-year old driver of the car that struck the motorcycle was arrested on the suspicion of driving under the influence.
