Motorcyclist critically injured in Marshal County crash

MARSHAL COUNTY, OK – A man from Newcastle sustained serious injures resulting from a collision following a police pursuit Tuesday evening.
The pursuit and ensuing crash took place along Powell Road a few miles south of Lebanon at about 5:00 p.m., according to KXII. Edwin Dodd, 42, wrecked his Kawasaki motorcycle at a high rate of speed while being chased by Marshal County Police.
Dodd was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, having sustained serious injures to his head and lower body. Details regarding what incited the pursuit have not yet been made available.
