Motorcyclist hospitalized following collision in Midwest City

MIDWEST CITY, OK – Officials with the Midwest City Police Department are looking into what may have caused an overnight collision that sent a motorcyclist to the hospital Tuesday.
According to News on 6, the crash occurred near the intersection of Northeast 23rd Street and North Douglas Boulevard sometime before 3:30 a.m.
Both a motorcyclist and the driver of an SUV involved in the crash sustained injuries as a result. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital while the occupant in the SUV was treated for minor injuries and released from the scene.
Details regarding what caused the incident remain under investigation as of Tuesday evening. The motorcyclist’s condition is also unknown at this time.
