Motorcyclist killed in crash with van on OK-51 at S 318 Rd near Wagoner

WAGONER CO., OK – An 18-year-old motorcyclist died on Thursday after a two-vehicle crash in east-central Wagoner County, reports Fox 23.

The incident happened in the early afternoon in the area of OK-51 and South 318 Road, which is west of Taylor Ferry.

Police say the speeding motorcyclist, identified as Carter Mullins, struck the rear of a van. The force of the collision threw the motorcyclist from his bike, and he died at the scene of the accident.

The 76-year-old driver of the van did not sustain injuries in the accident.

Officials closed roads in the area of the collision while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
