Motorcyclist’s life claimed in crash with truck in SW OKC

SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A motorcyclist was killed as a result of a crash involving a truck in Southwest Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
The crash happened on Southwest 89th Street and May Avenue, according to Koco5. Police said a driver of a truck merged into the same lane as the motorcyclist and then crashed into their bike.
The motorcyclist was left in serious condition and rushed to a hospital, where they later died.
The truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. No arrests have been confirmed for them.
Police blocked the area to allow tow truck crews to clean up the scene and have since reopened the area.
