Multi-vehicle accident on I-240EB near S Western Ave blocks traffic

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency teams responded to a major accident Thursday morning along the interstate in southern Oklahoma City, reports News 9.
The incident happened sometime before 7:45 a.m. on the eastbound side of I-240 just before South Western Avenue. This is just east of the Southern Hills Shopping Center.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the cause of the crash, nor have they commented on injuries.
Drivers experienced major delays along the interstate while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
