Multiple arrests following Del City police chase

DEL CITY, OK – Two men are in custody following a police chase that lasted for several miles in Del City Wednesday afternoon.
According to News 9, the pursuit began at the residential intersection of Hillside Drive and Hartsdel Drive. The two men sped away as police were attempting to pull them over, prompting a chase that included officers from both Oklahoma City and Del City.
Stop sticks were used to flatten the tires and stop the fleeing suspects in a gas station parking lot near South East 44th Street and Bryant Avenue.
Raquon Bishop, 19, and Devantae Freeman, 25, were both arrested and charged with multiple violations, including eluding police and the illegal possession of firearms.
