OHP investigates fatal auto-pedestrian crash at I-35 and 66th

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man sustained fatal injuries Monday in an auto-pedestrian accident along the interstate in southeast Oklahoma City, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident was reported sometime before 9:45 a.m. on I-35 near Southeast 66th Street, which is just north of I-240 and west of the Valley Brook neighborhood.
Police haven’t disclosed many details regarding the crash; they say the victim was discovered deceased along the roadway. They’ve not yet released the name of the victim.
The driver involved in the collision has not been publicly identified, and officials haven’t confirmed whether or not they stopped to render aid.
Motorists likely experienced significant delays along I-35 in the area of the crash Monday morning while emergency crews worked at the scene.
