OHP investigates rollover crash that killed elderly man in Canadian Co.

CANADIAN COUNTY, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a collision that claimed the life of a 75-year-old man last Sunday, Sept 14.
OHP told KOCO that the crash happened off Apache Street. The 75-year-old man was driving a pickup truck on the Apache’s westbound lanes when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a fence near Richland Road Northwest. The truck flipped over and crashed into a creek.
The driver died from his injuries at the scene. He has since been identified as Gary Warnke, a Piedmont local.
