OKC PD blocks majority of I-44 due to multi-vehicle collision

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City police blocked the majority of Interstate 44 East along Southwest 149th Street due to a multi-vehicle collision on Thursday.

According to Koco5, police closed almost all eastbound lanes, leaving one open to accommodate the on-scene clean-up process and investigation period.

Video footage showed a black car with significant rear-end damage, suggesting this could have been a rear-end crash. Police, however, have not specified the factors behind that crash or whether anyone was injured.
