OKC PD officers sent to hospital after crash with box truck in SW OKC

SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Two Oklahoma City police officers had to go to the hospital following a crash that involved a box truck on Tuesday.

According to Koco5, the incident happened after midnight in the area of Southwest 46th Street and South Western Avenue. Here, a police cruiser collided with a box truck.

The two officers inside were transported to a local hospital for a medical evaluation/treatment. Officials have not provided an update on their physical condition and also confirmed the truck driver was uninjured.

Police have not said whether anyone was cited or charged for their involvement and are working to determine the events that led to the crash.
