A man from Oklahoma was injured in a Sunday morning car accident in Ford County.

89 year-old Wayman J. Bryan of Oklahoma was traveling south in a 2003 Dodge pickup truck on U-283 near Dodge City when he attempted to navigate his vehicle passed a semi truck. According to Kansas Highway Patrol, Bryan lost control of his vehicle and smashed into the semi. The Dodge then entered a ditch on the eastside of the roadway and rolled onto its top.

Investigators say Bryan was transported to a nearby hospital in Dodge city. The driver of the semi truck, 27 year-old Eric L. Bennett of Arkansas, was not injured in the crash.
