One airlifted to hospital following crash with OHP vehicle in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person was airlifted to a hospital following a crash involving an Oklahoma Highway Patrol vehicle on Monday.
According to KFOR, it appears that the driver of a black minivan crashed into OHP’s patrol vehicle.
The trooper of the OHP vehicle and an Oklahoma Turnpike Authority worker were redirecting traffic due to a grass fire when the collision occurred. Both the trooper and OTA worker were out of their vehicles and were not struck by the man, and were spared from injuries.
The black van was significantly damaged, and its driver is expected to survive.
