One Dead, Four Injured After Two-Truck Collision

A man was killed and four others were injured after a crash, a March 4 article of The Ada News reported.
The accident happened on Monday, in State Highway 3E. 75-year-old Weldon L. Rose fell asleep while driving a 2016 GMC pickup truck, causing it to hit a 2008 Ford F250 pickup truck driven by 50-year-old Tyrone S. Burgess. Rose had to be extricated from his vehicle, then airlifted to OU Medical Center. Unfortunately, he died later due to his injuries.
Meanwhile, Burgess had to be taken to Chickasaw Nation Medical Center. His passengers, 20-year-old Brian W. Fox II, 29-year-old Ryan Walker, and 31-year-old Lucky T. Weems were sent to the same hospital.
