One dead, one injured in Murray County ATV crash

DAVIS, OK (MURRAY COUNTY) – A man died and a woman was seriously injured Friday afternoon following an ATV crash in Murray County, according to KFOR.
The accident happened just before 3 p.m. near Substation Road and U.S. Highway 77.
The driver of the Polaris Razor ATV, 28-year-old Davis man Joe D. White, was riding with passenger Kathryn White, 29, also of Davis, when they collided with a culvert. The ATV then rolled over multiple times, ejecting both occupants from the vehicle.
Joe White died at the scene of the accident.
Kathryn White was airlifted to the hospital for the treatment of multiple critical injuries, including those to the head, arm, leg, and torso.
The accident remains under investigation.
