One Dead, One Seriously Injured in Warr Acres Pedestrian Accident

WARR ACRES, OK – A person was killed, and another is in critical condition, after a driver hit two pedestrians at a Northwest 38th Street crosswalk on Sunday, News 9 reports.
According to authorities, the pedestrian collision occurred at the intersection of Northwest 38th Street and North MacArthur Boulevard. Police responded to a crash to find the two victims, a 45-year-old woman and her 19-year-old daughter, in critical condition. They were rushed to a nearby hospital, where the 45-year-old woman later died. The other victim remains in critical condition.
Police arrested the driver, 68-year-old Michael Eugene Osborne of Oklahoma City, on charges of driving under the influence of drugs, second-degree murder, and driving under the influence while causing an accident with great bodily injury.
