One hospitalized after dune buggy accident near Tulsa

TULSA, OK – One woman was transported to the hospital after being struck by a dune buggy in an overnight southwest of downtown Tulsa.
According to News on 6, the incident happened while the driver of the dune buggy was near a levee close to Charles Page Boulevard and South 33rd West Avenue.
The individual who was operating the dune buggy claims the victim ran out in front of them causing the collision. They were arrested on unrelated warrants following the incident.
The victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
