One injured, one killed in Broken Arrow accident

One woman was killed in an Oklahoma auto accident in Broken Arrow on Wednesday night.

18-year-old Dillon Shipley was driving southbound on 129th East Avenue when a deer ran onto the roadway, causing the driver to swerve off of the road. According to police, the vehicle then rolled over multiple times, causing Shipley and a female passenger to be ejected from the car.

Neither of the occcupants of the vehicle were wearing their seat belt when the accident occurred. Shipley, who was is serious condition, was transported to a Tulsa hospital to be treated for his injuries. The woman was killed in the incident.

The single-vehicle crash is still being investigated by the Broken Arrow police.
