One life claimed, another hurt in head-on crash in Haskell

HASKELL, OK – One person’s life was claimed and another person was injured in a head-on crash in Haskell on Saturday, Newson6 said.
The incident occurred before 1 a.m. on State Highway 72 near West Dozer Road. Preliminary details show that a 35-year-old man was driving north when he went out of his northbound lane, into the southbound lane, and crashed his vehicle into a southbound vehicle.
The impact of the crash led to the death of the driver of the southbound vehicle. Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified her as 18-year-old Isabella Clay, a Haskell local.
The male driver was injured. He has since been identified as Levi Crawford from Tulsa.
Clay and Crawford were the sole occupants of their vehicles.
Clay wore a seatbelt, but Crawford did not.
Officials are working to determine what caused Crawford to crash into Clay’s vehicle. No citations or charges have been announced.
