OPH investigates wrong-way crash near Gerty that kills 1, injures 2

NEAR GERTY, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the details behind a wrong-way crash near Gerty that killed one person and injured two others on Friday.
The collision occurred in the area of Highway 75 and County Road East 1480, according to News9. Preliminary details show that a 45-year-old man was driving south on the highway when he went over the double yellow lines and into the northbound lane. Moments later, he crashed head-on into another vehicle.
The 45-year-old man was declared dead at the scene, and the two other vehicle occupants were left with unspecified injuries.
The victim has since been identified as Christopher Dalinger.
