Passing motorist pulls victim from a flaming car in North Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Fire officials in Oklahoma City have reported a good samaritan pulled a man from a vehicle that had caught fire along Northwest 50th Street Friday morning.
According to Fox 25, the driver collided with a crosswalk pole at the intersection of Northwest 50th Street and Portland Avenue before 7:00 a.m. The vehicle then caught fire which was seen by a passerby who quickly jumped into action.
The man was pulled from the flaming vehicle and suffered second-degree burns on his extremities, but is expected to survive.
An investigation into what caused the crash is underway.
