A pedestrian died after being hit by a police vehicle, a January 3 article of Oklahoma’s News 4 reported.
59-year-old Terence Kilgore parked his car on the side of westbound Interstate 40 near Manning Road. He left to get fuel and then went back to his vehicle. As he was crossing the interstate, he was hit by at least two vehicles, one of which was a police vehicle driven by Sgt. John Ricketts. Consequently, investigations are now being conducted, but Sgt. Ricketts was not placed on administrative leave. Meanwhile, neither the officer nor the other driver involved in the collision were hurt.
