Pedestrian fatally hit by driver on OK-74 near south Maysville

GARVIN COUNTY, OK — A woman died late Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle on Oklahoma Highway 74 near south Maysville, according to KOCO.
The fatal incident was reported about two miles south of the city at around 11:30 p.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but officials with the state’s Department of Public Safety said the woman was standing in the highway’s traffic lanes when she was hit by a car.
The victim died from her injuries at the scene, confirms the DPS.
It was unclear whether the driver remained at the site.
No pending charges or citations have been reported as of this writing.
