Pedestrian fatally hit by vehicle on I-40 in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A pedestrian lost their life after they were struck by a vehicle on Interstate 40 in Oklahoma City on Saturday, Koco reports.

The incident happened around 10:45 p.m. on the westbound lanes near Post Road. For reasons unclear, the pedestrian was lying on the road and was then hit by a vehicle.

The driver said they could not avoid a crash and hit the pedestrian.

Police have not released the pedestrian’s name and are working to learn more.
