Pedestrian hit, hurt by driver near NW Oklahoma City shopping center

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — One person was hospitalized Monday morning after being hit by a vehicle near Warwick Crossing Shopping Center in northwest Oklahoma City, reports KOCO.
Oklahoma City Police responded to the scene near Northwest 112th Street and Rockwell Avenue, in the Warwick 5 neighborhood.
The circumstances behind the incident were unclear, but officials said the victim was conscious and communicating with first responders after the crash. The patient was transported to OU Medical, where the extent of their injuries remain undisclosed.
The driver, who was not reported hurt, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
No pending charges or citations have been reported as of this writing.
