Pedestrian hospitalized after Tulsa accident

TULSA, OK – Officials with the Tulsa Police Department were forced to shut down a portion of Garnett Road following a pedestrian crash Thursday morning.
According to KJRH, the man was struck in the northbound lanes of Garnett Rd. near its intersection with 31st Street sometime before 6:00 a.m.
Police say the victim, who was wearing dark clothing in a poorly lit area, was unconscious when he was transported to the hospital. No updates regarding his condition have been made available as of Friday afternoon.
The driver remained on the scene and is not facing any charges st this time.
