Pedestrian killed in East Tulsa crash

TULSA, OK – One man was killed following a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash near I-244 in Tulsa late Monday evening.
According to Tulsa World, the incident happened within the 6800 block of East Admiral Place at about 8:40 p.m. The pedestrian, who is believed to have been homeless, was struck by a Chevrolet Cruze. The unidentified man was rushed to the hospital where he died shortly after.
The driver involved in the crash remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Police say he called for help after hitting the 50-year-old pedestrian.
No charges have been filed at this time.
