Pedestrian struck, killed by vehicle on Riverside Pkwy near River Spirit Casino

TULSA, OK – A pedestrian died last Friday night after a vehicle struck him while he crossed a busy Tulsa roadway to get to a casino, reports KJRH News 2.

The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of East 82nd Street and Riverside Parkway, which is just east of the River Spirit Casino Resort.

Medics transported the man to a local hospital where he died from injuries sustained in the collision. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.

Police say that the driver involved in the accident stopped to render aid and speak with authorities.

A full investigation is underway.
