Pedestrian struck, killed in Broken Arrow Expy in SE Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A pedestrian sustained fatal injuries Thursday morning when a vehicle struck him along the freeway in southeast Tulsa, reports Fox 23 News.
The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. on the westbound side of the Broken Arrow Expressway near South Yale Avenue, which is just northeast of Highland Park and south of Darlington Park.
Police say the victim was attempting to cross the expressway when he was hit by a westbound vehicle.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the victim’s identity, nor have they shared any details about the driver involved in the wreck. They have not referred to the incident as a hit-and-run.
There’s no word yet on charges.
A full investigation is underway.
