Pedestrian struck, killed on N Mingo Rd at E Pine St in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A pedestrian died early Friday morning in Tulsa after a vehicle struck him along a busy roadway just south of the airport, reports News 8 Tulsa.
Around 4 a.m. emergency crews reported to East Pine Street and North Mingo Road, which is north of I-244 and west of US-169.
Police say that a southbound vehicle struck the pedestrian along North Mingo Road. He was attempting to assist at the site of an earlier collision at the entrance of a business parking lot when the vehicle hit him.
The pedestrian died after transport to a local hospital. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim, nor have they shared many details regarding the earlier crash.
