Pickup truck driver injured in collision with produce truck in Catossa

CATOSSA, OK – A pickup truck driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of a collision that involved a produce semi-truck on Wednesday.
The crash occurred on eastbound Highway 412 along 265th Avenue, according to Newson6. Preliminary details show that the produce truck, coming from California, was driving on the highway and missed an exit connecting to the Will Rogers Turnpike.
The produce truck driver tried to make a U-turn and collided with the oncoming pickup truck.
The pickup truck driver was the only injured person. The produce truck driver and their passenger were spared from injuries.
Officials shut down the eastbound lanes temporarily for the scene clean-up process and overall investigation.
