Pit bull attack on children led to couple’s arrest

A pit bull attack on two children in Sand Springs, Oklahoma led to the arrest of the couple who owned the dog, newson6.com reported on May 21.
Reports said the first dog attack incident happened on May 16 and the second one happened on May 19 within the confines of the couple’s home. The two children, who were not identified, both sustained serious injuries from the attack. Tulsa Deputies later apprehended dog owners Joshua Zegarzewski and Veronica Cornelius after they admitted that their dog attacked the children. The couple is currently booked at Tulsa County Jail for charges of endangering a child and for having drug paraphernalia in their house.
