Police chase ends in crash with injuries on Will Rogers Tpk in Verdigris

VERDIGRIS, OK – Four people went to the hospital Tuesday after a police chase and a crash along the Will Rogers Turnpike in southwest Rogers County, reports KTUL 8.
Police say the chase started in Tulsa along I-244 and involved a stolen vehicle carrying four people, all of whom were reportedly involved in an act of armed robbery.
The chase ended when the vehicle crashed somewhere on the turnpike in Verdigris, which is northeast of Tulsa. The cause of the collision is unclear.
Medics transported all four occupants to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
Authorities have not yet released any information about the identities of the victims or the charges they will likely face.
