Police investigate fatal pedestrian crash at NE 23rd and Sooner

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man died Thursday morning after a vehicle struck him at a busy intersection in northeast Oklahoma City, reports KFOR News 4.

Authorities reported to Northeast 23rd Street and Sooner Road around 1 a.m. after reports of a possible pedestrian accident.

After locating the victim, they pronounced him dead at the scene. Officials have not yet named the victim publicly.

Police say that a suspect called and confessed that they may have struck a pedestrian in that area. Officials are questioning the suspect, and no charges have been announced thus far.
