Police investigate Tulsa hit-and-run into Main Park Plaza building

TULSA, OK – Police are investigating an alleged DUI crash that involved a sports car crashing into a downtown Tulsa building late Wednesday night, reports News on 6.

The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the area of East 4th Street and South Main Street, which is north of the Hyatt Regency and west of Cox Business Convention Center.

Police say that a Corvette carrying three occupants struck a fountain, a tree, and two poles before crashing into Main Park Plaza. The accident caused substantial damage to the building.

The three occupants of the vehicle fled the scene on foot.

It’s unclear if anyone sustained injuries in the collision.

A full investigation is underway.
