Ponca City crash kills 1 on W Hubbard near Waverly

PONCA CITY, OK – A 67-year-old man died early Saturday morning after crashing along a busy roadway in southern Kay County, reports Fox 25.

The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on West Hubbard Road, just west of US-77 and N3310 Road.

Police say that for unknown reasons, the victim’s eastbound vehicle left the roadway and overturned after hitting a cable barrier.

The driver, identified as Hayden Jones, died at the scene of the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
