Power outage, injuries reported after crash near 25th and May

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A driver sustained injuries, and OG&E customers lost power in southwest Oklahoma City Thursday after a major crash.
According to KOCO News 5, the accident happened around 12:30 a.m. in the area of Southwest 25th Street and May Avenue, which is east of I-44 and and northeast of Woodson Park.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a truck left the roadway and hit an electric pole.
The driver required hospitalization for injuries of unknown severity.
Damage to the electric pole resulted in a power outages for more than 100 people. It’s unclear how long it took for OG&E to restore power to the area.
