Rollover accident on OK-9 at Old Barn Rd kills 1

PINK, OK – A 76-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries Thursday in a single-vehicle rollover crash in west-central Pottawatomie County.
According to Fox 25, the accident happened in the afternoon on OK-9 at Old Barn Road in the city of Pink. This is about 33 miles southeast of Oklahoma City.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the unrestrained driver lost control of her 2009 Ford Flex, left the highway, and overturned into a ravine after hitting a mailbox.
Authorities pronounced the woman deceased at the scene, identifying her as Janice E. Mann of Norman.
There were no other passengers in the car at the time of the accident.
A full investigation is underway to determine what may have caused the victim to lose control of her vehicle.
