Rush-hour collision reported near downtown Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency services in downtown Oklahoma City have reported injuries as the result of a collision northwest of downtown Tuesday evening.
According to the Oklahoma City response and accident tracker, the crash occurred within the intersection of North Meridian Avenue and Northwest 16th Street near EB Jeffrey Park just before 4:30 p.m.
Details regarding how many vehicles were involved in the collision and the extent of injuries sustained as a result have not yet been made available. Authorities are advising motorists to avoid the area throughout Tuesday evening while the crash can be investigated and cleared from the road.
