Rush-hour crash closes lanes on I-40

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol were forced to close down at least one lane on I-40 following a Thursday morning crash.
According to the official Twitter page of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the collision was reported at about 8:00 a.m. within the eastbound lanes of I-40 near South Council Road.

Troopers have reported injuries as a result of the crash. However, information on the number of people hurt, and the extent of those injuries have yet to be released.
